Reaching Out with the Love of Christ
Christ has instructed us to ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ (Matthew 22:39). He also wants us to help others, as a way of showing our love for Him, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ (Matthew 25:40).
Because of these directives, we strive to find diverse ways to minister to and help out our neighbors, whether they be in our local community or other locations around the nation or the world. Below are just a couple ways we serve our neighbors and spread the love of Christ around the world.
Our Caring Ministry is an important visitation ministry of our church to persons who can no longer attend church due to health or mobility issues. Caring Ministry visits their home-centered friends regularly, calling them on the phone and send greeting cards on special occasions. If you would like to serve as a Caring Friend with our Caring Ministry or have a request for someone in need of a visit please contact our church office at 309 937-2018 and leave a message for Christy Aniol. Or email our church office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The goal of the Mission Ministry is to create mission awareness and to develop and implement programs of missions that will help to balance the needs of our community, nation and foreign nations with the resources of the Church as much as we can.
If you would like to know more about our Missions and would like to help, please contact Debbie Johnson through our church office at 309 937-2018 or email at email@example.com.
