Greetings From Our Pastor!

Pastor Jim Aniol

Pastor Jim Aniol

I am been blessed to be the pastor at Cambridge Methodist since July 1st 2018 after serving for four years in the Wisconsin Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.

I am what you call a second career pastor, which means that I worked in the corporate world for over thirty years as a retirement plan consultant, before I received my call to ministry during a sermon in 2012. I am continually amazed at how God used the events of my life to train me for ministry.

In addition to a Bachelor’s degree in accounting I received a Master’s in Divinity degree from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary in 2018 where I was awarded the Hoyt L. Hickman Award for sacramental and liturgical scholarship and practice.

Cambridge Methodist is the perfect fit for an extrovert, as our church is never empty during the week, and our worship is a true gathering of God’s children enjoying the company of each other as we worship our Father, and His Son Jesus, in a manner that is truly inspired by the Holy Spirit. The congregation mirrors the friendliness of Cambridge, and the surrounding area.

I pray that you will join us for worship at 10:30 on Sundays, or one of our Bible studies during the week. On this website you will find links to videos of our worship and Bible studies so that you are able to try us out before you visit us in person. Once I meet you at the front door before worship, and “welcome you home”, you too will become part of God’s family in Cambridge.

Peace and blessings,

Pastor Jim
